I’ve got it.  I’ve finally sussed out what Apple are all about. 
Taking old tech and making it look nice.  Nothing about the iPhone is new.  I mean 3G?  Come on!  How long has that been around?

    Not making it look nice: making it work well (from a user interface point of view).
